What happens to what you send us
Feedback about a specific guide goes to that guide and to the training department, with your name removed if you prefer. Feedback about a route — a museum that was closed, a street that has become impossible to cross, a meeting point that nobody could find — goes into the tour notes so the next group does not hit the same problem.
We read all of it. A club run by volunteers has no quality department, so guest comments are the quality department.
What is most useful to tell us
- The date of your walk and the name of your guide, so we can place the comment.
- Anything about the pace: too fast, too slow, too much walking in the heat.
- Whether the guide's English was easy to follow, and where it was not.
- Practical problems: pick-up time, meeting point, closed sites, unclear instructions.
- What you would have liked more of — history, food, daily life, photo stops.
If you want to leave a public review
Tripadvisor is where most travellers find us, and a public review helps a student guide far more than they will admit. Our page there holds around 700 reviews. Facebook works too, and so does simply telling the next traveller in your hotel lobby.
You can also read what other guests have written on our [reviews page](reviews).
